 Kitesurfing is the new, Hot sport in the watersports market. Invented some years ago by a french guy it has taken a while to become popular; however, in the last 4 years ...
Kitesurfing has taken the market by storm and is growing and changing at a rapid rate.
The sport consists of a large 2 or 4 line kite and board. Using the wind to power
yourself and your board you are able to do all manner of manoeuvres, wave riding and jumps.
However as this sport is still in it"s infancy new tricks are always appearing.
 The material is always advancing with new systems and ideas.....
There are 3 centres each on 3 of the Canary Island that offer kitesurfing. Flag Beach Windsurf Centre is THE centre on Fuerteventura and is able to offer ideal conditions for this sport with side shore winds, flat water, plenty of sandy launching area and space on the water for manoeuvres.
