 On the 31st of October of this year 2010, in Corralejo,Fuerteventura, the II Edition of the “ International Half Marathon in the Dunes of Fuerteventura” will be taking place.
This extrordinary trial , will be located during the major part of its route, in the heart of the Natural Park “ Dunas de Corralejo” ( Corralejo Sand Dunes).  Apart from local and National participation, the “ International Half Marathon In the Dunes of Fuerteventura” includes running participants from all corners of the European Continent. A desert of fine sand dunes, rough tracks and temperaturas that get above the 25º will be just some of the adversities that our intrepid marathon runners will be up against. Also, not to be forgotton, that the Majestic Atlantic Coast will accompany them all the way and that Lanzarote and the Island of Lobos turn into luxurious expectators of the event. With all of this we can truley say that the “ International Half Marathon In the Dunes of Fuerteventura” is an event with an African taste but “ MADE IN EUROPE”. Its not an excesively hard route, the Stones at the beginning and then the sand in the second half make the trial more difficult.Throughout the route the sand texturas change.
